The False Ember¶

A massive floating embodiment of flame, ruling where Emberdale's own god had been imprisoned.
The battle¶
After loosening the four chains, the party spoke Vashember's completed name together. The False Ember lost half its hit points before the main exchange.
It struck at range with blasts of flame and punished the party's clustered use of basalt cover with a fireball. They defeated its weakened form, but it began to rekindle.
Niko cast a magical circle while Arthas broke the controls holding Vashember. Releasing the god ended the False Ember permanently and destroyed the planar anchor.
