Brother Ctenmiir

Undead · A vampire running short of prayers

Met	Session 10
Found in	The candle gallery
Controls	The blue seal on the route to Level 3
Feeds on	Energy within the pilgrims' prayers

The party tried relighting the gallery's white candles. Ctenmiir emerged to explain that he had tried the same thing hundreds of times.

The new employer's energy extinguishes them again. The prayers are fading, and he is getting hungry.

The bargain

Ctenmiir explained the purple, blue, green, and gold seals that bar the way to the volcano's lower level. He offered access to the blue seal for blood.

Fenro volunteered and paid with a reduction to his maximum HP. Ctenmiir granted the seal. They did not fight.

Open threads

• The party has not established how to recover Fenro's lost maximum HP.
• The gallery's fading prayers remain a problem for Ctenmiir and Emberdale.
