The Candle Gallery¶
Prayers fading · Blue seal cleared
A chamber north of the prayer-river junction, on Level 2 of Emberdale's volcano.
The white rows¶
Most of the room was filled with lit candles. Two rows were bone-white and unlit. The party brought flame from the river's floating prayers to relight them, then learned the problem was not a shortage of fire.
Brother Ctenmiir had tried hundreds of times. The new employer's energy kept putting them out.
A vampire's provisions¶
Ctenmiir feeds on energy within pilgrims' prayers. As those prayers fade, he grows hungrier.
He explained the four seals and granted the blue seal in exchange for Fenro's blood. Fenro's maximum HP was reduced.
Open threads¶
The blue seal is cleared, but the candles are still failing. Fenro has not yet been recorded as recovering the maximum HP he paid.
