Tresendar Manor

Party property

The defunct mansion on the hill above Phandalin. Redbrand headquarters, then the party's hideout, then a brewery, then a hole in the ground leading somewhere much older.

The Redbrand era

Glasstaff ran the gang from here. The party got in through a secret entrance in the woods, found by Pip Stonehill and a friend from the Alderleaf Farm.

Inside they found:

  • The crevasse — the longsword Talon, and Mirna Dendrar's husband
  • The Nothic — paid in horse jerky
  • The barracks — bugbears harassing a goblin
  • The jailMirna Dendrar, freed
  • Glasstaff's quarters — and Glasstaff, unprepared

The deed

With the gang broken, the party asked Harbin Webster for the deed. He signed it over.

They put Sister Garaele's waterskin of everflowing water to work and opened a brewery, hiring Mirna as barkeep.

What was underneath

Construction noise woke something.

The vent lair

Urmon built a lair beneath the manor to vent magical energies from the Forge of Spells.

Marble and copper pipes, a labyrinth, rust monsters, a gelatinous cube, a mimic, and a six-rune door.

Behind the door: the minotaur — once Asterion, Urmon's second-in-command — and a helmed horror nobody could account for at the time.

The reading nook and a second journal are where the party first learned the words Forge of Spells.
