A ghoul dressed as a chef, shuffling bones around a table.

He announced he was preparing a feast for Urmon and Mormesk — the two men whose argument killed everyone in this cave, hundreds of years ago.

He wasn't cooking anything. He was going through the motions of a life he used to have.

The trade

He needed a pink herb from the next room to finish the dish. The party already had the pink flower from the fungus chamber and handed it over.

He was delighted, and gave them the green rock he'd found.

That was the fifth node.

Worth remembering

He is still expecting both of his employers for dinner. One is imprisoned in another plane. The party destroyed the other in the next room over.
