The party has linked the volcano's new employer to Diamabel, and defeated the false god in Session 11.

A pattern worth noticing

Every villain in the top table was working for someone further up the chain. Klarg for the Black Spider. Glasstaff for the Black Spider. The Black Spider for himself, chasing something Diamabel built.

Nobody has yet fought something that wasn't downstream of the Forge.

Auntie Bloat was floating beside a planar anchor with a tooth stuck in it, and there is no evidence she knew what either of them was for.

In Emberdale, the same chain reaches into the scriptorium and Bluto's contract: erase the old god and leave the anchor untouched.
