Every villain in the top table was working for someone further up the chain. Klarg for the Black Spider. Glasstaff for the Black Spider. The Black Spider for himself, chasing something Diamabel built.

Nobody has yet fought something that wasn't downstream of the Forge.

Auntie Bloat is the newest name on that list. She was floating beside a planar anchor with a tooth stuck in it, and there is no evidence she knew what either of them was for.
